Although Sean couldn’t go with us, we (Jake, Maggie, and I) decided to head south for Memorial Day. I’m glad we did. We enjoyed two sunny, warm days: hiking, biking, swimming, sunning, and generally lounging about the place. I graded midterms and did some reading. While there, my Kindle arrived. I started reading my first book last night…so far so good 🙂

We celebrated Sean’s birthday today…can’t believe he’s 45. I remember him so clearly at 27. Has it really been that long? I do love that man.
