how did that happen? only 3 1/2 weeks until we leave for southern California, and after that trip things will happen fast: football begins the 1st of August, Torrey for the first weekend in August, then 2 retreats–both at Alta :)–the next week. then school opens. then classes begin. anyway, the progress on Maggie’s room continues…yesterday, applied primer and 1st coat of Marigold yellow. today did the second coat. unfortunately, it will need 3 coats 😦 good thing I didn’t plan an out-of-town trip this weekend! looks like I’ll be painting trim all weekend. but I’m enjoying the women’s world cup games and Wimbledon tennis matches–always something to do while I take a break from painting.
